There are many tips and tricks mentioned on the internet about IRCTC Takal booking. But after my own 5 years experience on this issue. I would like to share this information with all my readers and visitors.

So, we firstly begin with best working tips and slowly proceeds to general tips. During Tatkal hours irctc.co.in is one of the most 'crowded' website on the internet.

Here are the Top 7 Tips to book faster during tatkal.

#1: Be Prepared and Get Practiced  !

Their are no miracles in real world. To Book ticket faster you need to Practice on IRCTC's website. Just enter any random journey station, for eg. Delhi to Mumbai. and any random date. Choose any train, click on Book Now, fill up the form as fast as you can. Take help from your partner/family member to understand Captcha.

Fillup mobile number and correct names because it will make your browser to remember these entries and make it auto fill when you actually book tatkal.

#2: Setup more than one Login ID

Sometimes due to some error or connection problem, your Booking may get terminate. Thus, as a Backup point of view, always ready another browser (or incognito of same browser) ready logged in with second pair of IRCTC username and passoword. 

Due to this, you don't need to fill out login credentials and specially Captcha.

#3: Confirmed about Date, Train and Time 

Get your minded prepared about when you have to book your ticket ? In which trains ? and also about time because From 15-06-2015, booking of tatkal tickets will be staggered for AC and non-AC classes to 10am onwards and 11am onwards respectively.
